Glendale, CA - California became the first state to issue a stay-at-home order due to Covid-19.
It all began on March 19,2020. Fast forward to today, it's been one year. Many non-essential workers continue to work from home, since many offices have restrictions being held.

Zara Karmin is an advisor for the Housing Authority, Section Eight. Her daily routine experience from working at home took some getting used to. "The process is challenging since we provide customer service to economically disadvantaged families such as homeless, elderly people, people with mental health issues."
Since everything can be handled remotely, Zara mentioned that she now has more time on her hands to take care of things. "I turned one of my bedrooms into a little office, and every morning I wake up and make my cup of coffee, and come upstairs to start my work on my desk." Because of the pandemic, the environment of work and life will never be the same as people start to adjust to this new normal.
